The location includes a heavy emphasis on New York State beers and growlers to go, along with an in-house bar for sampling beers on tap.

"We've had a really positive response," said Store Manager Zander McKernan. "People are excited to see something like this in the area. Our focus is American craft beers, but we're really all about variety. Customers can mix packs to go. We really try to encourage sampling all kinds of different beers."

The store is owned by the same folks who run Vine and Co. at 741 Bedford Rd. Ashley Diamond, owner, and Meg Burdick, general manager and partner, said they noticed ?noticed many of ?their? customers asking if ?they? sold beer and local, craft beer in particular. And so, when the space at 532 Bedford Rd. became available, they grabbed it.

Starting soon: A monthly Beer Lovers’ Club. The space can also be rented out for private parties (boys night out anyone?) and can accommodate up to 30 guests.
