Shaun Weiss' story is as heart-wrenching as it gets. The former child star was homeless and living on the streets just three years ago amid his battle with drug addiction.

In a recent interview with People, Shaun Weiss admitted it was "hard to see" images of himself during that stage of his life and said he "looked horrible and deathly.

But Shaun Weiss, who is nearing three years sober, has steadily turned his life around with the help of comedian Peters. It was Peters who suggested he make stand-up comedy his new passion in life, and Shaun Weiss has done just that.

Just this May, Shaun Weiss opened for Russell Peters at a comedy show, performing 10 minutes at Oxnard Levity Live Improv. And now, Shaun Weiss is headlining his own comedy tour, The Mighty Weiss, as he continues to get his comedy career going.
